Reincarnate advances its work on sustainable construction with new methods for smarter, leaner project execution. Deliverable 2.1 – Lean Construction Resource Planning – presents how Lean Construction principles can be integrated with digital technologies like Building Information Modelling (BIM) to optimise resource use, minimise waste, and track carbon footprints on construction sites in real time.

The report details the development of a BIM-integrated plug-in for concrete ordering, streamlining the process from order to delivery, and a digital connection between Delivery Tickets and BIM models that enables real-time carbon tracking. It also introduces new functionality within the Circular Potential Information Management (CP-IM) platform to support automated model parameterisation in open-standards environments.

By linking Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) with BIM data, Lean Construction Resource Planning demonstrates how digital workflows can reduce waste, improve transparency, and promote more sustainable building practices.

The deliverable was a joint effort by Witold Olczak (MOS), Agata Muchla (MOS), Piotr Dymarski (MOS), Alicja Brachaczek-Jokel (CEMEX), Iwona Wagner (CEMEX), Fatemeh Asgharzadeh (DEMO), Samaneh Rezvani (DEMO), Rebecca Markgren (PlanB), Ylva Lemke (PlanB), Pedro Avellanosa Santos (VIAS), and Ismael Sanchez (VIAS), with contributions from MOS, CEMEX, DEMO, PlanB, and VIAS, and reviewed by RagnSells and PlanB.
