Reincarnate explores how circular business models can become mainstream by understanding how organisations collaborate, exchange value and adopt new practices. Deliverable 4.3 Business ecosystems for circular markets: maturity, transformation and mapping provides a structured approach for analysing stakeholders, platform roles and ecosystem maturity within the construction sector.

The report identifies ten platform-economy schemes, developed through interviews and AI-supported modelling, that help companies position themselves as suppliers, complementors or orchestrators. These schemes support partners in reflecting on collaboration potential, ecosystem readiness and opportunities to accelerate circular adoption.

By clarifying actor roles and mapping platform pathways, this work shows how structured ecosystem design can build trust, strengthen collaboration and support the transition toward circular construction.

The deliverable was a joint effort led by Klaus Luig, Dieter Jansen and Lea Sichelschmidt (3L), with contributions from TUB, AUS, DMO, TUD, ASI, PlanB, HUST, EUR, CEM, RAS and VIAS, and reviewed by AUS and ERA.
