Reincarnate advances circular construction by strengthening how recycled materials are assessed and integrated into high-performance building applications. Deliverable 3.4 – Advanced Valuation Models for Recycled Materials presents data-driven methods that support reliable valuation of recycled materials while reducing uncertainty in reuse and recycling decisions.
The report focuses on advanced experimental and AI-driven approaches to evaluate recycled materials, combining decades of laboratory data with carbon estimation methods integrated into the CP-IM platform. By applying adaptive and zero-shot design strategies, the work significantly reduces the need for extensive laboratory testing while enabling the development of high-performance, low-carbon materials, particularly for concrete applications.

By improving transparency, confidence and performance assessment of recycled materials, this deliverable supports higher-value reuse pathways and contributes to more resource-efficient, climate-neutral construction practices.
The deliverable was a joint effort led by BAM (Christoph Völker), with contributions from TUB, MOS, 3L, VIAS, CEMEX and RAS, and reviewed by MFX and CEMEX
