On September 30, DEMO Consultants, leading the exploitation activities in Reincarnate, hosted a dedicated workshop together with Ragn-Sells and Lagemaat to explore future exploitation pathways for circular construction.

The session focused on circular value flow planning for flat glass and the one-to-one reuse of prefabricated concrete elements — transferring components directly from a donor building to a destination building.

During the workshop, participants worked hands on to map potential circular pathways and link them to feasible business model patterns. Together, they defined value propositions, identified pains and gains, and outlined the key jobs to be done to bring these reuse strategies to market. The session highlighted the importance of collaboration across the value chain to transform circular construction from concept to viable practice.

Testing our tool in Sweden

Earlier in August, DEMO Consultants and Ragn-Sells tested the latest features of the Circular Potential Information Management (CPIM) platform at the Teknikhöjden building in Sweden. This activity focused on demonstrating how digital workflows can support the upcycling of flat glass from existing buildings. Using a combination of 3D photogrammetry, LiDAR scanning, and BIM integration, the team a fully navigable 3D Virtual Model enriched with detailed component data and equipped with query systems to facilitate the decision-making process.

The testing validated two key innovations developed within the project:

1. Building Inspection and Valuation – enabling detailed tagging, visualization, and assessment of components directly within the digital model.
2. Circular Value Planning – supporting data-driven decision-making for reuse, recycling, and circular material flo

These validation activities demonstrated how CPIM connects real-world inspection data with digital building models, paving the way for smarter, traceable, and value-oriented reuse strategies in construction.
