On May 23, our Project Coordinator Timo Hartmann from Technische Universität Berlin and Sabine Kruschwitz from Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) participated at the roundtable organised by the Centre for Entrepreneurship of the Technical University of Berlin (TUB).

In this afternoon event, Reincarnate participated in a dynamic discussion about several aspects of the circular economy and recycling in the construction sector together with two others inspiring speakers. At the roundtable, representatives from research and practice came together to exchange ideas about the potential of green solutions to reduce the construction and demolition waste and to make the construction industry sector more sustainable.

The speakers gave us valuable insights, many thanks to them:

🎙️ Prof. Dr. Timo Hartmann and Prof. Dr. Sabine Kruschwitz Krushwitz from Reincarnate, who shared with us their expertise on the development of digital tools to assess the circular potential of buildings.

🎙️ Jeroen Meissner, Partner und Partner Architekten, for his exciting lecture on sustainable architecture and his practical know-how in the field of circular construction.

🎙️ Sandra Giern, Managing Director Technology of the BDE Bundesverband der Deutschen Entsorgungs-, Wasser- und Kreislaufwirtschaft e. V., for her valuable contributions and insights into the recycling of building materials.

From the Reincarnate team, we thank TUB Centre for Entrepreneurship the for inviting us and we hope to continue the interesting and insightful discussion in next events!
